Ohio Visti, as seen through my phone

I tell ya what...I don't use my camera nearly enough because of how convenient the iPhone is, but I do miss the quality of the photos from my camera.  That being said, I was SO upset that I actually forgot to bring my camera along when we visited Cincinnati for our Thanksmas celebration.  I mean, seriously...that is definitely not like me.  So...these may not be the best quality pics, but here is what I have!  {And mom and dad...email me some of the pictures from your camera, please.  Thank you!}

Of course, the highlight of the trip was meeting this little man.  I totally could've just held him in my arms the entire time we were there and have been completely content.  He's perfect.

Phoebe was thrilled to meet Maddie, too.  I'm not so sure Maddie felt the same.

No surprise, but the highlight of the trip for the kids was probably opening gifts.  This is their first Christmas every year, so it's always a favorite.  And they got some really good gifts, as usual!  Gavin was beyond excited to finally get his xbox he'd been dreaming about.

It was fun to visit Kenwood Town Center and see Aunt Meggie's cards in a REAL store!

It wasn't as funny when Riley handed me one of her prints and asked me what it said and it was this one...

We decided to tell Aunt Meggie to watch her language.  ;)

While we were there, we surprised Mom and Dad with the gift of having pictures taken of their three grandchildren, all together, for the first time.  They turned out great (but this is just from my phone...)

We enjoyed seeing a movie in the theater with Beepa, one of his favorite things to do.  We saw the Peanuts movie, which was really cute.  The kids loved it.

And despite Riley's face, both kids really did love our visit to the Cincinnati Zoo.  It was crazy how beautiful the weather was!

Jarrod and I crossed off another race and ran our first 10K together.  Well, by together I mean we drove there and back together, but he runs MUCH faster than me.  But, I finished well ahead of my goal, so I was pleased!

And then the Turkey arrived just in time for Turkey Day!

This year, we offered to smoke a turkey here in Arkansas and bring it along with us for our Thanksgiving dinner.  Not gonna lie....we both were nervous that it wouldn't work out well and that we'd ruin Thanksgiving dinner, but it was really good still.  Not quite as good as last year's that we smoked, but I think that was because this one was about 8 pounds larger!

Seriously...the weather on Thanksgiving was so nice that we got to enjoy a fire out back.  That's so out of the ordinary for a Cincinnati Thanksgiving!

Our last day there was spent decorating gingerbread houses and exploring a new park, which was great.  The kids had a blast!

And I always suck at realizing that I didn't take enough pictures the night before leave, so I frantically snap pictures with everyone.  Unfortunately, Tyler and Dave weren't there when we took these, and we were already in our pajamas...but it's the memories that count, right?

Next time we see that adorable little man, he'll be so much bigger!  I'm so thankful that we got to see him in his little, newborn snuggly phase.

Love you all, Ohio family.  <3 font="">

Thanksgiving Day Photo Dump

As is the 'norm' for me, I realize on our last day with family that I didn't take enough pictures, and so I spend that day trying to get pictures of everyone.  Unfortunately, Gavin was still not feeling the best that morning and was napping while I was taking a lot of them, and when he woke up feeling better, some people were gone.  So, I didn't get pictures of the kids with every single person, but I did get a lot.  I haven't taken time to edit them, and the lighting/coloring isn't the greatest, but it's the memories that matter.  And since there are like a bajillion of them, I'm just doing a photo dump! :)

Love you all!!!
