Yesterday, Jarrod, Gavin and I joined other Sam's employees and volunteered at Fantasy Flight and Winter Wonderland. Today is the big day, but yesterday was all the prep work. Fantasy Flight and Winter Wonderland, from my understanding, is a program that gives a wonderful Christmas experience to children with life threatening illnesses and/or are underprivileged. The kids get to take a plane ride to "The North Pole" to look for Santa, and then come back to the Wonderland to meet Santa and get a gift. We decorated Christmas trees and wrapped presents yesterday, and Jarrod is working the drink station today while the event is taking place. It was really neat to see all the people there working yesterday. I would love to see all the kids' faces today!

Look at all the wrapped toys! They're in bins separated by age so the children get an appropriate toy.

Sorry for the poor quality of the photos. I forgot to take my camera, but wanted to share some pics with you, so I snapped some on my phone. If you want more info on the event, you can visit www.fantasy-flight.org.
