Scared of heights?

Last month, we took Gavin to Strong Museum. There is a part in the "Super Hero" exhibit where he could walk across a plexiglass floor. It was quite amusing to watch him - apparently he may be scared of heights! I shouldn't laugh when he is scared, but I think it's really cute how he stays over on the edge.

Can you tell me how to get.....

How to get to Sesame Street? :)

When Jarrod was finally done traveling back and forth from Syracuse, we celebrated having our family back together with a trip to Strong Museum. I, regretfully, forgot my camera. :( But, I did have the Flip Camera in my purse so here are a couple short videos from our trip to visit Elmo at Sesame Street!

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Well, today is the big game! Gavin and I are excited to watch OSU vs. Michigan with Daddy when he gets home from Syracuse. We're hoping he'll get to take tomorrow off since he's been traveling the last three days, and we can put our Christmas tree up. I'm a bit worried how Gavin (and the other kids that come for playdates) will do with the tree. Let's just hope it doesn't get knocked over!

Gavin and I had a fun time showing Aunt Sandy around Rochester. We took her to Melon Bean for some coffee, visited Strong Museum and the mall, and she was able to meet some of our new friends. It's always great to see family. :)

And, how about a picture to get your weekend started? This was from Gavin's first carousel ride a couple weeks ago at Strong. He loved it...for the first couple times around, and then he kept trying to stand up and was ready to go. Unfortunately, this merry-go-round lasted FOREVER!

Fun Times Friday

Gavin and I were so excited to see Jen and Andrew last Friday. Jen and I worked together at Shaw, and they were in town with Jen's family for an awards ceremony for her dad. So, on Friday, Gavin and I went to pick up Jen, her husband, and Andrew and we took them for a fun morning at Strong Museum. It was so great to see them and to get the boys together for a playdate. Of course, Sesame Street was a favorite area for both boys. Gotta love Elmo! I just wish we'd had more time so I could have taken them more places. I would have loved to go to The Sandbox and Melon Bean. I didn't edit the pictures yet...so just ignore Gavin's red eyes!
Do you know how hard it is to get two toddlers to sit together and look at the camera at the same time?

Man, those eyes look evil! Guess I should have edited that first!
He even likes fake corn!
I told him to brush the teeth and he brushed his hair instead.

Vacation: Strong Museum of Play

On Thursday, the plan was to go to a baseball game and spend the afternoon walking around downtown. We woke up to pouring rain, which obviously changed those plans. So, we all headed to Strong Museum of Play. Gavin and I had been there before, but it was a first for Jarrod and the rest of the Peters family.

Big Bird's nest is HUGE!
"Hey, is that my friend, Zoe?" (Hi Tori and Zoe! When you come visit, we'll take you guys to the museum so Zoe can have fun on Sesame Street, too!)
Visiting the Post Office with Grandpa, USPS employee for a loooong time (What is it, dad? 26 years???)
Doesn't Gavin look so excited to be working at the Post Office?

Ok, forget Wordless Wednesday and Flashback Friday this week. To get you updated, I'm going to post a little each day for the next few days. :)

Where's Gavin??? This is one of his new favorite games. He loves hiding behind the curtains at the apartment. So silly...
At our first "meet-up" with our new playgroup. He was in the Berenstein Bear area at Strong Museum of Play. He loved it there. And so did I! :)
Love the curl!

Hanging out in Daddy's truck!
Heidi and Anthony were driving through after visiting her sister so we met them for coffee. It was great to hang out for a little while. Wish Gavin had been more cooperative for a picture, but oh well! I can't wait to see her again! August 22! :)
