More Tennessee Pics

We stayed in a condo in Norris Lake with Stephanie and her kids.  It was a really nice place, a good mix between modern and cabin-y, if it's ok that I just make that word up! :)  Gavin loved the recliner, and of course, they loved getting into all the new stuff they can find!

Honestly, the day of the wedding was rather chaotic, so I don't have many pictures.  It's hard to take pictures when you're trying to keep two kids entertained in a public place without your husband's help (he was in the wedding).  So, this is the only one I ended up with...thanks to another wedding guest for offering to take it for me.

That's really all I have from our Tennessee trip.  Congratulations, Steve and Brandi, on your new marriage and your adorable baby boy, Britain.

Opry Hotel

This place was seriously gorgeous!  If we had stayed at the hotel, though, we would have never found our way back to our room.  It was huge!  And to think that the whole thing was flooded last year was amazing to us.  We had a great time walking around the hotel.  Beautiful!

Nashville

I finally just decided to upload pictures without worrying about editing anything.  I'll never get them on here if I wait for time to do that!  So, here are some of our Nashville memories.

We got on the road and I surprised Gavin with Angry Birds Space.  He had been asking ALL week for me to buy it and I kept telling me he could have it for the drive if he was good.  As soon as I handed him my phone to play with, you could see him light up.

He did eventually take a nap...

And while he slept, Riley got a turn on my phone...

The cute kiddos happy to finally make it to the hotel!

My boys make such silly faces!

Fun times at the Opry Hotel (more pics to come of that place...amazing!)

We walked from the hotel to the mall, and Gavin forgot his sunglasses, so he wore mine.  Say hello to Mr. Hollywood!

At the mall, we ate at The Aquarium...super cool!

I {{LOVE}} it when someone offers to take a picture of all of us!  I asked a teenage girl to take one of us in the hotel, and though she took three, none of them turned out.  Jarrod told me I wasn't allowed to ask anyone else.  While we were waiting for our shuttle to pick us up, one of the charter bus drivers got out and asked if we wanted a picture.  He told us he had 27 kids and grandkids, so he was used to being the picture person.  Yay for a family pic!

Back at the hotel, we took Riley swimming for the first time!  She loved it!  These pictures didn't turn out great, but at least there are a few of her first swimming experience.

More of Tennessee to come!
