Thirteen Thursday

Best part of our trip to St. Louis?  The soccer game that took place in the hotel hallway.  :)  Our hotel was circular, which made for a great place for Gavin to chase Ty and Bri and to kick the soccer ball.  He loved it!  (Not sure what the other hotel guests thought....but seriously, it was like 10 minutes and it was only 7pm.)  Here are 13 of the shots!

Sorry....that's a lot of pics.  But, now I'm finished with our St. Louis trip!  We can't wait to go back and explore more.  Thanks, families, for a GREAT time!  We love you. :)

Family Pics

Thank you, Jackie, for requesting that I take some family shots while we are in St. Louis.  This is something that I always have good intentions of doing and 9 times out of 10 I forget.  So, Saturday night, before Gavin's bath, we snapped some shots.  He was surprisingly into it for the first shot with his grandparents....and then slowly lost interest.  You'll see....

These crack me up - I got like 6 of him with his grandparents...but someone was taking pics with my parents' camera, too.  So, not one of the shots I took has all 4 looking at the same camea.  Oh well!

More St. Louis

Day 2 - honestly, I didn't take a ton of pictures.  My allergies kicked in Friday night in St. Louis, so I felt pretty bad all day Saturday.  Jarrod and I headed to Bass Pro Shop because the boy is now obsessed with hunting....thanks, Arkansas, for turning my husband into a hunter!  The plan was to meet at the zoo afterwards.  Well, we got to the zoo, but no one else did.  It was so packed that traffic was awful and they gave up and went back to the hotel.  So, we left and went back to meet them.  Gavin was so tired and fell asleep on the way back to the hotel, and then proceeded to nap for almost 3 hours!  Isn't he so cute???
The guys and Rosi decided to head across the street to the stadium and watch the Reds and the Cardinals game.  We were pretty lucky they were in town that weekend, though people on the streets weren't always nice to us when they saw us in our Reds gear.  The rest of us walked to Macy's while they were at the game.  Again, I was pretty impressed with how pretty downtown St. Louis was.  I can't wait to go back and explore more!

Memaw bought Gavin some new Toy Story toys while we were at Macy's.  We then walked back down to the arch for a little while to hang out.  It was a pretty night and we got to see a ton of wedding parties there taking pictures.  Gavin loved hanging out on the steps and playing with Woody and Rex.  :)

St. Louis - Day 1

In between potty training trips to the bathroom, I'm going to try and get all the St. Louis pics uploaded to the blog.  The first day we got there, we walked to the arch.  It was wonderful because we were so close to it.  We just had to walk a block and cross the street basically to get there.  The area around the arch  wasn't like I expected.  It was a gorgeous park area right on the riverfront.  We had so much fun just playing in the grass, watching the boats and the helicopters, and enjoying the beautiful weather!
