Open House was a bust...

I thought I had a brilliant idea to open up my home to the neighbors and sell some Tastefully Simple things to them. I still had samples from the fall-winter line, and I really wanted to get a few more clients. So, I put papers in mailboxes, hung a poster at Kroger, and put signs all around the neighborhood. And I got...one person! Blah! Oh well...I guess it's one more client than I had this morning. :)

We didn't have much luck this year with the annual Christmas exchange for Angie, Heidi, Lauren and I. We postponed it until after Christmas because Lauren and Jeff were going out of town, then Gavin had RSV in January on the weekend we were planning to meet. So, it was planned for this past weekend, and of course, it couldn't have gone off so smoothly... Heidi ended up sick and couldn't join us. We missed you, Heidi! Here are some pictures from the day of Gavin and Giovanni playing together.

I use my cell phone to take short videos of Gavin a lot and send them to Jarrod. With all the trouble we've had getting him to eat well, I wanted to show him just how much Gavin had eaten this night for dinner. It was taken a week or two ago. It's sure to make you smile!

We have our work cut out for us...

Gavin is so adventurous! We're going to spend a lot of time in the ER with this daring little boy. I can just feel it. He pulls himself up on everything. Today, he pulled up on the swing...here he is, standing in the front of the swing, while it is moving, and he is trying to keep his balance. Then, he climbed on top of the diaper bag to try to open the drawers in the kitchen. And, the carseat roller coaster is still popular that I posted about before. Of course, I'm there with him, so he is safe, but I can't believe how much he tries!
