Gavin's 1st Lesson in Car Maintenance

Thought I should explain yesterday's Wordless Wednesday photo.  Earlier this week, Jarrod changed the oil in the truck in preparation for our upcoming road trip, and Gavin was such a big helper!  I think moments like this make Jarrod so excited for things to come.

Leaves!

These pics are long overdue...a few weeks back, I took Gavin to the square to take some pictures on him with the leaves.  We were only there about 10 minutes, because it had rained overnight so they were a bit wet still.  But, he did love playing in them!

These pictures are the perfect example of why I need to learn editing.  I wish the leaves were brighter!  I'm working on it...

Construction Site

It seems as though pretty much every road surrounding us has been under construction since we moved here.  They're expanding roads like crazy to help with the traffic!  Well, not far from our house, they just started a new project, which means construction equipment galore.  Last week, we stopped on our way to run an errand so Gavin could get out and explore the machines a bit.  He thought it was pretty cool!
