Recipe - Crunchy Onion Chicken

I found this recipe in the newspaper while clipping coupons and was excited to try it.  I must say, I was disappointed.  It definitely needed more flavor...not my favorite of our new recipes we've tried.  But, Gavin ate it...so that's always a plus!

20 Weeks!

I told Jarrod last night that from now on - even if we're just cleaning all day - I'm doing my hair and makeup on Sundays before he takes my belly shots.  I look awful!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 20 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Hamm is the size of a canteloupe and about 10 inches from head to toe.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Oops, forgot to weigh again this morning.  Gavin actually slept late today for the first time in a LONG time and it threw my whole morning off!

Maternity Clothes: Yep, pretty much everything (except sweats). 

Gender: It's a GIRL!!!  Still so shocked!  When the name is decided, it will be kept a secret until she arrives.  

Movement: Finally feeling a little something at least once a day.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good right now. 

What I miss:  Not much - trying to enjoy this one since it will probably be our last.

Cravings: I'm just always hungry these days, especially after we {stupidly} watch Food Network before bed.  Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives just really gets to my belly!

Symptoms:  I went to the chiropractor on Friday about my hip and it's feeling much better so far.  No new symptoms right now.

Best Moment this week: Finding out this baby is a sweet little girl!  

 

I need to hook up the printer so I can scan in our ultrasound pictures, but here is one I took with my camera to show that it's a girl!  Sorry for the bad quality.  You are looking at her left leg and butt area in case you're confuse (Dad).  

Diaper Bag Help

I'm 90% sure I am going to get a Vera Bradley diaper bag for this baby.  But....I can't decide which I like the most.  What do you think?  Comment or email me to give me some input.  :)

 

Just rambling

I'm taking a few minutes to sit down and put my feet up so I thought I'd jot down some things that are going on around here.  Gavin woke up at 5am with a croup cough.  I'm hoping that tonight isn't worse, but I'm not counting on it.  I anticipate us being awake a lot tonight.  I spent the afternoon organizing my closet.  I put winter maternity clothes away and hung all my spring/summer stuff up.  I'm also starting to organize things that will go out for our spring garage sale when our neighborhood has theirs.  Jarrod and I went up to the attic and looked through our baby stuff.  He brought down the two tubs of newborn-3 months clothes that we have so I can sort through them. I'm hoping there is something in there I can still use!  I'm planning to sort through all Gavin's clothes so I can decide what I want to keep, what I should pass on, what should be sold, etc.  We're 95% sure this will be our last baby so no use in keeping 6-7 bins of boy clothes when Baby Sister is on her way.  We also just got a phone call that our tenants came home from vacation to find some damage to the house.  So, now I'm waiting for the photos and police report before we figure out what needs to be done.  It's always something!
