Daddy time & Santa time

What a great weekend! Jarrod surprised us and came home a day early. He got here just as Gavin was getting ready for bed on Wednesday, so needless to say, bedtime was later than usual. He's so great...I came home from work on Thursday and the house was so clean. He even did dishes, which he doens't usually do. It's so nice to come home to a clean house. Gavin got to have some much needed Daddy time on Friday. They hung out all day, went up to Beavercreek to visit some people at Sam's, then came to school so I could show him off.

We finally started some Christmas shopping on Saturday and Gavin sat on Santa's lap for the first time ever. I thought he would be scared, since he's starting to get a little uneasy when I leave him, but he did so great. The pictures turned out great. Later that day, we went down to Cincy and spent some time with Gigi. She is so incredibly weak. It's sad to see her that way, but I love just sitting in her bed with her and talking to her. She asked me this weekend if Grandpa ever got to meet Gavin. I had to reassure her that even though Grandpa died months before we were even pregnant, his picture's up in the house and Gavin sees him everyday. We hung out Saturday night with Travis and Doni. Quinn is going to have a little sister in April!

Buckeyes were not successful this year. Jarrod wasn't home when I tried to make them, and Gavin wasn't too interested in letting mommy make them. So, I only got about half a batch done, and they still aren't even dipped. I'm so behind this year for Christmas. It sucks!
