Holiday on the Square

We were really excited to take Gavin to the square to see the lights, so we headed there after dinner on Friday.  It was really pretty, and a nice night, but I haven't figured out the settings for nighttime on my camera, let alone with Christmas lights.  Sorry they are blurry....I still wanted to share with you all!

 We also walked a block or so and watched people skate at the skating rink.  Gavin thought that was really cool.  I'd love to take him skating!  I can't even remember the last time I ice-skated....I think Jarrod and I had just started dating!

 Gavin checked out the Hanukkah display, too.  He loved the candles!

Family Park Time

Last weekend it was a beautiful day so we headed to a new park with Gavin and spent a little time playing on the playground.  I love family time like this.

And I especially love that Jarrod took the camera from me to snap some shots with me in them.  It's not often that the pics have me since I'm usually the one taking them!

Visiting Friends

I wrote last week about visiting with Tori and her precious kiddos, but not having my camera.  Well, she posted some on her blog of our visit, so I stole them.  :)  Here are some shots of Gavin and Zoe playing together and me with the chunk that is Jack.  Tori is such a great friend of mine, and I love that Zoe and Gavin enjoy playing with one another when we're in town, and looking at each other's pictures on our blogs when we're not!  I especially love the shots of their hug at the end.  Thanks for letting us stop by while we were in town, Tori!  I know you only have a few short hours in the evening with the kiddos, but I loved our visit.

6 Weeks!

Time to start the weekly updates!  Yes....I plan to take weekly belly pics, just like I did with Gavin. I use a really cute journal called The Belly Book and it has a place for a weekly pic, which is my motivation.  Jarrod really enjoys it....not.

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 6 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a sweet pea.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 0 so far...but we all know that will change soon!

Maternity Clothes: Still in my clothes, but I think it may be time to order a couple Bella Bands.  I wore mine with Gavin all the time and dug it out this weekend and it didn't hold up well.  I'd love a couple new ones.

Gender: Unknown....my gut says it's another boy right now though.

Movement: Too early.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good!  Some days I'm more tired than others.

What I miss: Morning coffee.  I've switched to tea most days to cut back on my caffeine, but I had a cup of coffee yesterday with our traditional Sunday morning breakfast and it was so yummy!

Cravings: Nothing really right now.

Symptoms: I've had my moments of just feeling plain gross, but I can't complain.  I'd say my biggest symptom is this hormonal roller coaster.  You know, where little things just make you cry?  Yeah, it's fun...

Best Moment this week: Having Gavin name the baby 'Hamm' (like on Toy Story.)  I was telling him and Jarrod I wanted a name to refer to the baby as on the blog and with Gavin, so they started joking about names and Gavin said, 'How about Baby Hamm?'  The smile on his face was too cute, so of course, I said sure!  I didn't know if he'd 'get it' but yesterday at Sam's Club we saw a baby in a car seat and he said, "Look, mom.  It's a baby just like Baby Hamm."  :)  Too cute!
