Thirteen Thursday

I wrote about the 13 of Gavin's favorite shows....now it's my turn.

13 shows I love to watch, in no particular order ~
  1. Modern Family
  2. Real Housewives (OC and NYC)
  3. Bethenny Getting Married
  4. A Baby Story/Bringing Home Baby (they're pretty much the same thing, right?)
  5. Intervention
  6. The Today Show
  7. Shows like Dateline and 48 Hours Mystery, depending on the topic
  8. House Hunters
  9. The Big Bang Theory
  10. Friends
  11. 90210 (the old rerun, not the new series....)
  12. Two and a Half Men
  13. Say Yes to the Dress
I obviously like TV too much because I could definitely keep going...  Oh well!  That's what I love about DVR.  What shows do you like to watch?

Wednesday Weigh-In

Woohoo!  Down another pound!  Honestly, I wasn't expecting any loss this week.  I definitely had a few days this week where I just wanted to snack all day, and then Gavin and I made cupcakes on Monday, but I'm so excited to see 139.4 on the scale this morning because it means it's the first time since having Gavin that I'm back in the 130s.  :)  So, 6lbs down, about 9 more to go for my 'goal.'  I was explaining to Jarrod again this morning that 130 was my goal so I'd be about the same weight I was before getting pregnant with Gavin.  His thought:  I should shoot for what I was in high school - around 105!  Probably not going to happen any time soon, dear....

Gavin reads!

I posted this video on Facebook last night, but I realize there are many blog readers that aren't on Facebook and I just had to share this.  Jarrod and I find ourselves saying several times a day how big Gavin is getting.  This video is yet another example.  It makes me so proud, both as a mommy and a teacher!  Just click the link below to watch it!

Painting a masterpiece!

A while back, I posted photos of Gavin making a birdhouse with Daddy.  We never did get around to painting it....until Sunday!  I finally remembered that I did have paint that wasn't washable in my craft stuff, so we set up the painting tablecloth, stripped him down, and let him go to work!  He loved it, and was covered in paint by the end.

And the finished product.....
What lucky birds!!!
