Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 24 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Hamm is the size of a papaya and weighs just over a pound.  She's starting to pack on the pounds and it's becoming quite tight in there for her according to my weekly updates.    

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm going to update this tomorrow.  I weighed myself this morning and think it said 3 more lbs this week.  But, then doing the math, it would 5 more lbs, which can't possibly be right....I'll recheck tomorrow and come back to change it. 

Maternity Clothes: Yep, pretty much everything (except sweats). 

Gender: It's a GIRL!!!  When the name is decided, it will be kept a secret until she arrives.  

Movement: Feeling lots of movement now and can see her move from the outside.  Gavin and Jarrod just haven't been able to feel her yet because of bad timing.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good still!

What I miss:  Not much - trying to enjoy this one since it will probably be our last.

Cravings: Back to wanting spicy food all the time, which Jarrod loves.  And coffee - this week I've been drinking more coffee again and want some every day.

Symptoms:  Tons of heartburn last week!  My feet and hands have started swelling already now that it's getting warmer here.   And the hip pain is back over the past few days so I may have to visit the chiropractor again.

Best Moment this week: Finishing up my day care job - the little girl I've been watching since last June is no longer coming and it is really nice to know that I have time with just Gavin now and don't have to worry about that scheduling conflict when making doctor's appointments.

I'm here

I am still here.  I've just been really busy lately, and haven't been taking many pictures.  On Thursday, we hosted a playdate with our playgroup here, and then met Jarrod at the mall after work to do a little shopping.  We found some things for Gavin to wear to the wedding next month. I'm just hoping he'll actually wear them!  We got these shoes -

We also go a shirt and tie, but I couldn't find them at first on their site.  Well, I finally found the shirt and tie on their site.  Here they are!

I'm kind of hoping he'll put them on for me to take some birthday pics of him.  We got it all at Crazy 8 - a new store that opened here that I loved!

I've been spending a lot of time getting things ready for a consignment sale and our neighborhood garage sale next weekend.  I'm really looking forward to selling some stuff!  I just hope it's nice weather next weekend.  It's gorgeous today!  We had to turn on the a/c today...it's 87!  I hate having the air on so early, but I think it should just be a one day thing.  A few weeks ago I bought some really comfy sports bras at Sam's Club thinking they'd be great for me to sleep in this summer when I'm 9 months pregnant and it's super hot.  I ended up breaking one out last night, and when I went in to get Gavin this morning, he said, "Why are you wearing that? Where is your shirt?"  :)  Funny that he wasn't wearing a shirt either, but apparently that's ok.  

We went to the Heart Walk this morning and then stopped at Hobby Lobby to get some more drawer pulls for the nursery.  Now Gavin is "resting" so we can go to Daddy's baseball game.  He's coaching an 8 year old team with a friend this spring and today is the first game.  I wanted a nap before we went so I told Gavin he had to rest (he slept on the way home from Hobby Lobby so no nap for him...), only I can't nap when he's in there singing and reading books at the top of his lungs.  It's going to be a long day.

I promise to get more pics taken and posted this week.  Stay tuned...

Wordless Wednesday

Playground Prize

Thanks to a little regression, we've started using a reward chart for Gavin for pooping on the potty.  It was really good timing on Sunday when he filled up the chart and earned a trip to the playground!  It was almost 80 degrees and gorgeous so we had a great time on the playground.  I was really happy that it was on a Sunday so Daddy could join us.  

Gavin likes to pretend these days, so he was pretending to have an ice cream shop and Daddy was ordering some ice cream from him. 

Here they were playing Hide -n- Seek.  Can you see Gavin hiding in the bottom left hand side of the picture? 

 Another reason I was glad to have Daddy there with us...I got to be in some of the shots with my favorite little guy! 

 For someone that complains so much about taking pictures, I was pretty impressed with this shot he got.  I love that you can see me in Gavin's sunglasses.

And just for fun - I snapped another shadow pic of my belly. 

 On the way home, we stopped at the gas station and Daddy ran in for a newspaper.  Gavin asked me to take our picture, and this was the result.  :)
