- I am so tired!
- I hope Gavin wakes up in enough time for us to head to Walmart before dinner, because I really don't want to go out tomorrow.
- I still need to get Jarrod another gift.
- There are clothes in the dryer from yesterday....should probably fold them soon.
- The new Tastefully Simple incentive for the next couple of weeks is awesome! I hope I meet my goal so I can earn some extra money.
- I can't believe it's almost Christmas!
- I wish I knew why Gavin is going backwards with the potty situation.
- I really want to take a nap.
- We have plenty of time, but I wish we would get some snow!
- I just found out Melon Bean is closing, and even though I'm not in NY anymore, I'm sad!
- We really have to mail our Christmas cards!
- I love our Christmas tree.
- I think I can squeeze in a 20 minute nap if I lay down right now...

Meet Spike
This is Spike. When we came home from Cincinnati a few weeks back, Santa had left Gavin an early present under the tree. He immediately noticed it and couldn't wait to open it! Inside was The Elf on the Shelf book, with this little elf. We read the book together, and learned that we needed to name the elf. Gavin decided on Spike.
Each night, Spike flies back to Santa to report back to him about how Gavin's day was, and when we wake up in the morning, he's in a new place! We've found him on the tree, in a stocking, on the bathtub, hanging from the lights in the dining room....he's a very clever elf! The book explained to us that if we touch Spike, he loses his magic power to fly back to the North Pole, so Gavin has been a very good little boy and doesn't touch him at all!
It is really cute to hear him walk up to Spike randomly and tell him what he wants for Christmas. If he does some extraordinary, we always run to tell Spike. And, Spike has come in handy for those nights Gavin doesn't want to brush his teeth. As soon as we tell him we're going to tell Spike, he's in the bathroom brushing (though usually still pouting...)
We enjoy having our little visitor each day!

7 Weeks!
{yes...I realize this outfit doesn't match! I like to take my pics in the same shirt each week to show growth, just like I did with Gavin...so I was wearing my tank under the sweater I wore yesterday. I didn't want anyone to think this is what I wore yesterday!}
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 7 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Hamm is the size of a blueberry.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +2lbs - hopefully all bloat!
Maternity Clothes: Still in my clothes, but still thinking I need to order some new Bella Bands.
Gender: Unknown....my gut says it's another boy right now though.
Movement: Too early.
Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good! Some days I'm more tired than others.
What I miss: Still missing my coffee, and hot baths...
Cravings: Nothing really right now.
Symptoms: The nausea has really kicked into high gear. I'm still quite emotional, and certain parts of my body are definitely growing! (I'll leave it at that, since Dad reads this...)
Best Moment this week: Again, the best moment had to do with Gavin - I've tried to get into the habit of calling him my favorite big boy, instead of just my favorite. I was hugging him yesterday and said, "Who is my favorite big boy?" and he said, "ME!" I smiled, and said, "Who is mommy's favorite baby?" and he quickly said, "Hamm!" :)
