11 Weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 11 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Hamm is the size of a lime - 

his/her head is almost half of the entire length of the body and fingernails are starting to appear.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +5.5lbs - up half a pound from last week...not surprising considering the cinnamon rolls 

and french toast casserole we made this weekend.

Maternity Clothes: Still in my clothes, but have been wearing my belly band most days 

and occasionally a pair of maternity pants just for comfort,

Gender: Unknown....my gut says it's another boy right now though.

Movement: Too early.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good but getting up once or twice to pee is getting old already.  Naps are common these days.

What I miss:  Allergy medicine for the days I have parties and the host has cats!

Cravings: Spicy foods all of a sudden are very appealing to me.

Symptoms:  I'm still very tired most of the time and my sense of smell is definitely heightened!  Which is especially nice when your dog decides to eat poop and throw up on your bedroom carpet - twice!

Best Moment this week: Seeing how excited Jarrod was when he put the crib together, 

or how Gavin was when we got him a baby doll to practice with.  :)

Jarrod started on the nursery this weekend....which is super early to most people, but let's be honest.  Jarrod isn't like most people.  I took Gavin to get his haircut on Saturday and got home to find all of the crib pieces in the nursery ready for assembly.  We tried very hard to make the futon work in the playroom so we still had a "guest room" but it just wasn't working.  Luckily for us, there are tons of great hotels less than 10 minutes away for guests who still decide to come visit until we get a bigger house.  It's amazing how much stuff kids accumulate!  We just kept looking around in the attic at all the stuff we have to bring back down wondering where it was all going to go!
